Frequently Asked Questions
How do I create a household?
After signing up, you'll be prompted to either create a new household or join an existing one using an invite code. To create a household, simply enter a name for your home and you'll receive a unique invite code to share with your roommates.
How do I invite roommates?
Go to Settings > Household to find your unique 6-character invite code. Share this code with your roommates, and they can join your household by entering it during sign-up or in the app settings.
Can I be in multiple households?
Currently, each account can only be part of one household at a time. If you need to switch households, you'll need to leave your current one first.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account by going to Settings > Account Settings > Delete Account. This action is permanent and will remove all your data from our servers. If you're the last member of a household, the household will also be deleted.
What data does Roommy collect?
We only collect data necessary to provide our service: your name, email, profile picture, and household data (chores, events, lists, notes). We never sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
